The following rule changes were made in the 2015 and 2016 Board Meetings but have not made it into the officially published rulebooks or into an addendum.

Note: There may be other changes to the rulebooks that are not mentioned here

Ready to Compete

• At the February, 2016 Board Meeting – A rule was added stating, “With the exception of the first daytime or evening events, all skaters must be ready to compete at least one hour before the scheduled time of the event.  Events can run up to one hour ahead of time.
• This statement is in the national program, but isn’t in the current speed rulebook.

Primary at ODN

• At the February, 2016 Board Meeting – Primary Division was added to the outdoor national championships.

Relay Qualifications

• At the Spring 2015 Board meeting – National Championship Eligibility (Relays): Changed the qualification for relays at Indoor Nationals to the top five instead of the top four in each region.
